Kool & The Gang & Rixton to Perform at 2014 Touring Awards:

The upcoming 2014 Billboard Touring Awards will feature performances by R&B/funk legends Kool and the Gang and English pop band Rixton, it was announced Wednesday. The ceremony, taking place Nov. 20 at the Edison Ballroom in New York City, honors the concert industry's top artists, professionals and venues. It was also announced that concert promoter Ron Delsener will be the recipient of the first-ever Golden Circle Award, and Bob Benjamin of the Light of Day Foundation is this year's Humanitarian Award winner.

The event, culminating the 11th annual Billboard Touring Conference & Awards, will also recognize Lionel Richie as a Legend of Live. Comic Ralphie May is hosting.

A 50 Year Touring Career: Case Study with Kool and The Gang:

Legendary band Kool and the Gang and the team behind them to discuss what it takes to create a long lasting touring career.

Touring Awards Finalists Announced! :

Finalists for the 2014 Billboard Touring Award include One Direction, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Rolling Stones, Arcade Fire, Jason Aldean and Paul McCartney plus more!

Richie will be named a Legend of Live at the 2014 Billboard Touring Awards, to be held Nov. 20 at The Edison Ballroom in New York City.
Billboard's highest accolade in the touring space, the Legend Of Live award honors individuals or bands who have made significant and lasting contributions to live music and the touring industry.
